ADAMS – Jessie Adams, 69, passed away suddenly at his home in Bassano at 1:00 p.m. Dec 23rd, 1959. He came from Idaho Falls, Idaho, to the Rosemary district in March of 1920, settling in a farm five miles southeast of Rosemary, Just two years ago they retired to Bassano, where he has made his home since. Ill health forced him to retire from the farm.
He leaves his widow, Christine; five daughters, Minnie, Hazel, Dorothy, Irene and Jessie; one son, Jack; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother, Frank, of Red Deer.
Services were held in the Presbyterian Church in Bassano, Saturday, Dec 26th, with Rev. H. Rose officiating. Mrs Phyllis Brent presided at the organ and accompanied Mr, John Ratzlaff who sang a solo.
The pall bearers were George Snaith, Julius Bodmer, Claus Narum, Harry Ankrum, P. A. Gellings and Everett White.
Interment was in the Bassano Cemetery with funeral arrangements by Smith Funeral Home.
