PLUMER – Camille Plumer, age 36 years, and Ben Justin Plumer, age two years, of Bassano, Alberta, died on July, 11, 1986.
Camille was born on January 15, 1950 at Georgetown, Guyana, South America and came to Canada in 1973.
She attended S.A.I.T. in Calgary to achieve a secretarial arts degree and in 1976 married Ben Robert Plumer, formerly of Duchess and presently of Bassano.
Ben opened his own law office in 1980 and Camille dedicated herself to this joint venture.
Justin Ben Plumer was born on April 20, 1984.
Surviving are Camille and Ben Justin’s husband and father, Ben Robert Plumer and their daughter and sister; Marie Anne, age 4 months, both of Bassano; Camille’s parents, Beni and Dolly Persaud of Georgetown, Guyana and brothers and sisters Tony of Calgary, Serena Singh of Toronto, Lelia of Toronto, Barbara, Chandie LeClair and Neran all of Calgary and their relatives by marriage, the Ben Plumer families of Duchess, Brooks, Sherwood Park and Bassano.
Funeral service will be held in Knox Presbyterian Church in Bassano on Thursday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Hector Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Bassano Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Neran Persaud, Czes Ruszowski, George Medicineshield, Francisco Rabadan, Pau Dukhia and Huber Ellis. Active pallbearers are Dick Plumer, Arnold Armstrong, Ralp Burrows, John Harms, Roy Rebeiro and Carl Aimoto.
