STOLLER – Gale L. Stoller died on September 17, 1986 at Bassano, Alberta at the age of 56 years.
He was born at Nanton, Alberta and was raised there. He married Gloria Gould at Nanton on January 24, 1953 and reside at Calgary and Nobleford before moving to Bassano in 1971. He formed a partnership and operated Bud’s Farm Equipment and after retiring was currently employed as a salesman with the firm.
He was a member of the town council for five years, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 55, Harmony Chapter, Calgary Perceptory, Big Country Shrine Club and the O.E.S.
Surviving are his wife Gloria of Bassano, a daughter Patricia and her husband Robert Sutherland of Kindersley, Saskatchewan, two sons Cliff and his wife Mary-Ellen of Brooks, Edward and his wife Cynthia Lloyd of Lethbridge, four grand children, Becky, Jeff, Jason and Kevin, his mother Rose Morin and grandmother Carrie McGraw both of Claresholm, a brother Henry of Taber, a sister Dorothy Evans of Lethbridge and nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20 at 2 p.m. in Knox Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Hector Rose officiating, Interment followed in the Bassano Cemetery,
Pallbearers were Jim Evans, Jim Cole, Sonny Maurer, Bud Stewart, Ted Schaffer and Ralph McElroy.
