ADAMS- Mrs. Flora Adams passed away in the Brooks Hospital on Tuesday, December12, 1961 at the age of 70 years.
She was born in St. Lawrence, Sask., coming to Calgary in 1892. She married Walter Adams in 1908. They ranched at the Red Deer River until 1910 when they moved to Brooks. In 1920 they moved to Rainier district where they farmed until 1924 when they moved north of Brooks and farmed until 1941. They moved to Brooks where they have resided since,
Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband Walter; four sons, Wally of Calgary, Patrick of Brooks, Gordon of Kamloops, B.C., Peter of Kamloops; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Ray of Chehalis, Washington, Mrs. Edna Dandenault of Kamloops, Mrs. Pauline Game of Lillooet, B.C., Mrs Lucille Jenkins of Brooks; one brother, John Ward of Medicine Hat and 19 grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec 16th, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Brooks with Rev. W.C. Leonard officiating. Interment will be in the Brooks cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
