AEBLY – Wayne Aebly died at Brooks Alberta in March 16, 1994 at the age of 49 years.
He was born on January 27, 1945 at Medicine Hat and was raised in the Jenner area receiving his schooling in Atlee. He moved to Brooks and was employed in various places before starting Wayne Aebly Excavating in 1971 which he had operated since.
Wayne married the former Elizabeth Vorra on August 19, 1972
He has been a member of the Elks and Legion.
He was predeceased by his mother Muriel and a brother Randy.
Surviving are his wife Liz of Brooks; two daughters Shona of Calgary and Muriel of Brooks; a son Allen of Brooks; his father Ernie of Jenner; three brothers Dan (Gwen) of Jenner, Brian (Gissell) of Medicine Hat and Gene (Laurie) of Brooks, nieces and nephews and his mother and father-in-law, Phyllis and Roy Vorra of Brooks and their family.
Funeral service was held on Saturday, March 19 at 2:30 p.m. in St. Alban’s Anglican Church with the Reverend David Asher officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dan Aebly, Brian Aebly, Gene Aebly, Bill Aebly, James Matheson and Don Middlebrook.
