ALBRIGHT – Anne Albright, beloved wife of Ed Albright passed away in Brooks on December 8th, 1998 at the age of 79 years.
Born in Virbalis, Lithuania on September 19th, 1919 Anne and Ed were married on September 21st, 1940 and came to Canada to Brooks in April of 1949. Other than 7 years in Tilley, they had resided here since. Anne had been a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brooks and St. Jude’s in Tilley for the 7 years and the CWL. She will be best remembered for her love for her family, her cooking, her soft heart and her willingness for hard work.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pranas and Maria Kisielaitis, a young brother and an infant sister in Lithuania and a sister Nellie.
Besides her husband Ed, Anne is also survived by her loving family, daughter Rena Villeneuve and her husband Norm of Brooks; son Joe of Brooks, 4 grandchildren Leslie, Lane, Mark and Michelle; 3 sisters Cese Versikaitis of Brooks, Maria Kalvaitis of Burlington, Ontario and Irene Seitz of Edmonton; 1 brother Joe Kisielaitis of Montreal and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends were invited to Prayer Services at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 11th from Smith Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 12th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Bryan Frank celebrant.
Active pallbearers were Randy Seitz, Troy Seitz, Joel Lozinski, Ray Juska, Bill Prentice and Dan Lovsin. Interment followed at Brooks Cemetery.

ALBRIGHT – Edward Albright passed away in Brooks on December 25th, 1998 at the age of 83 years.
Born in Starkai, Lithuania on April 25th, 1916 Ed and Anne Kisielaitis were married on September 21 st, 1940 and came to Canada to Brooks in April of 1949. Ed farmed here in this community except for a short time in Tilley before retiring in the late 1970’s. He had been a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks. Ed will be best remembered for his love for his family, for his support and generosity, for his enjoyment of life and for his smile and sense of humor.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Anne on December 8th, 1998, his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
He is survived by his loving family, daughter Rena Villenueve and her husband Norm of Brooks, son Joe of Brooks; 4 grandchildren Leslie, Lane, Mark and Michelle; sister Helen Macuilis of Aylmer, Ontario and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30th from Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. John Thiess officiating.
Pallbearers are Bill Prentice, Dan Lovsin, Clarence Seitz, Ray Juska, Don Juska and Mars Vercekaites.
Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery.

ALBRIGHT – Joseph Edward Albright passed away in Brooks on January 30th, 1999 at the age of 57 years.
Born in Arnstadt, Germany, Joe came to Canada with his family in April of 1949. He has resided in Brooks since, except for a short time in Tilley. Joe had received most of his education here in Brooks. He will be best remembered for his sense of humor and his generosity.
Joe was predeceased by his mother Anne on December 8th, 1998 and his father Ed on December 25th, 1998.
He is survived by his daughter Leslie Dieno and her husband Warren of Edmonton and their new son Matthew Warren who was born on January 4th; son Lane of Calgary; sister Rene Villeneuve and her husband Norm of Brooks and their children Michelle of Calgary and Mark of Fort St. John.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 4th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brooks. Rev. Bryan Frank officiating.
Pallbearers are Joe Versikaitis, Mars Vercekaites, Ray Juska, Clarence Seitz, Bill Prentice and George Bellavance.
