ALBRIGHT – Lydia Johana Albrlght of Brooks, Alberta died in the Calgary General Hospital on May 2, 1991 at the age of 82 years.
She was born at Maischelen, Lithuania and came to Canada in 1929 to Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.
She married Herman Albright and moved to the Brooks area in 1937, to Tilley in 1952 and to Brooks in 1984 where she has resided since.
She was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1964.
Surviving are a son Walter and his wife Gertrude of Brooks, five grandchildren, Shirley, Jo-Ann, Donna, Patsy and Wally, nine great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Ed (Ann) Albright of Brooks and a sister-in-law, Helen Maciulis of Aylmer, Ontario.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7 at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooks with Pastor Ken Grambo officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Walter Juska, George Anderson, Stanley Versekaites, Bryce Olson, Dean Perry and Edward Catterson.
