ALCOCK – Audrey May Alcock of Brooks passed away in Brooks on July 19th, 1995 at the age of 66 years.
Born in Estevan, Sask. on February 20th, 1929. Audrey received her education in Parkberg before moving to Alberta to Scandia in 1950. She lived in the Scandia area until moving to Brooks in September of 195 to the AuxiliaryHospital where she resided until the time of her passing. Audrey enjoyed gardening and was a jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others in need.
She was predeceased by her husband Sam in 1978, two sisters: Dorothy and Velma, two brothers; Glenn and Jim and a nephew Darcy.
Audrey is survived by two sons; Ron Alcock of Brooks, Glen Alcock of Tilley, two grandchildren; Devan and Deion of Brooks, six sisters; Orda Marrison and her husband Fred, Alice Smith all of Moose Jaw, Jean Perry and her husband Bert of Scandia, Ethel Bahler (Reuben Dewalt) of Brooks, Betty Rempel and her husband Lloyd of Brooks, Linda Riley and her husband Wayne of Moose Jaw, three brothers; George Friars of Moose Jaw, Gordon Friars and his wife Ruby of Calgary, Arnold Friars of Stettler and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from Smith’s Memorial Chapel, Reverend Loren Weber officiated, Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jeff Perry, Randy Perry, Gordon Alcock, Gail Alcock, Kevin Bahler and Mark Charlton.
