ANDERSON – Ellen Albertina Anderson died on June 5, 1982 in the Brooks Health Centre at the age of 79 years.
She was born in Sweden and came to Canada in 1910 to Bawlf, Alberta. She received her schooling at Eastend Saskatchewan and married at Robsart, Saskatchewan in 1923 farming there with her husband until moving to RoIling Hills in 1951. She farmed at RoIling Hills and Scandia until retiring to Brooks in 1962.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity L.C.W.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer on March 15, 1975 and one son, Lowell in February 1963.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Eileen MacDonald of Calgary, Mrs. Verna McMann of Watrous, Saskatchewan and Mrs. Dolores Skaret of Armenda, Alberta; four sons, Mervin of Ardrossan, Alberta, Lee of Brooks, Neil of Brooks and Ron of Lloydminster; 29 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren; four brothers, Albert Olafson of Rolling Hills, Art Olafson of Armena, Roy Olafson of Robsart, Saskatchewan, and Walter Olafson of Olds.
Funeral service was held on Monday, June 7 at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooks with Pastor K.O. Grambo officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
PaIl beares were Rod McDonald, Brian Anderson, Cam McMann, Art Anderson, Daryl Skaret and Mark Olafson.
