Anderson, George Alexander


George Alexander Anderson of Sylvan Lake, Alberta died on August 5, 1983 at the age of 28 years.

He was born at Brooks and receive his schooling there.

He married the former Rose-Marie Russell of July 24, 1976.

He was employed by  Suncor from 1976 as transferred to SylvanLake in October 1981.

He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Brooks Branch No. 63; St. Alban’s Church and was an avid sportsman especially enjoying hunting and fishing.

He was predeceased by a sister, Mary in January 1968.

Surviving are his wife. Rose-Marie of Sylvan Lake; two sons, Ryan and Tyler of Sylvan Lake; his parents, Betty and Bob Anderson of Brooks; his mother-in-law, Edna Russell of Brooks; two brothers Jim of Sedgewick and Fred of Coleville, Saskatchewan; two sisters. Rene Suhai and May Dunne,
booth of Brooks.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 11 at 2:30 p.m. in TrinityLutheranChurch with the Reverend K. O. Grambo officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Roy Wanner, Gary McCrady. Dwayne Felt. George Blades, George Cardin and Pat Hiebert.

If friends desire donations may be made to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
