Anderson – Mrs. Leah Edith Anderson passed away suddenly at the EdmontonUniversityHospital on Thursday, Aug. 9th at the age of 57 years. She was attending summer school in Edmonton at the time. Mrs. Anderson was born in Red Deer, and had resided in the Tilley district for twenty-seven years, where she was a member of the Tilley teaching staff.

She is survived by her husband Nels, of Tilley; five sons; Ian, Peter, Donald, Leigh, and Robin all of Tilley; one daughter, Constance of Tilley; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Keener of San Bernadino, Calif. and Mrs Neil Pearson of Pasadena, Calif.

Services were held in the BrooksUnitedChurch on Tuesday, Aug. 14th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Leonard Ling officiating. Interment was in the Brooks Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were C. Colbens, H. Norden, W. Crook, R. Lee, M. Dunne and C. Maldaner.
