Bacon, Rudolph Nicholi

BACON – A resident of Brooks. for the past 16 years, Rudolph Nicholi Bacon passed away in BrooksGeneralHospital on November 4, 1965 at the age of 69.

Born in North Dakota on May 19, 1896 he came to Moose Jaw, Sask., in 1920 and moving to Brooks in 1949 where he has since resided.

He is survived by two sons, Donald Bacon of Red Deer, Terry Bacon of Brooks; two daughters Mrs.. Joyce Alberta, Brooks and Judy Bacon of Brooks; six grandchildren, three brothers  and three sisters. He was predeceased by his wife Hazel, August 5, 1965.

Funeral service was held from the Lutheran Church Brooks on Monday, November 8 at  2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Lokken officiating. Interment was in Brooks Cemetery, with arrangements under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Art Drake, Russell Bacon, Vic Willard, Steve Krkava, Jr., Richard Graham and Pete Reynolds.
