BALDWIN – Kenneth Knowles Baldwin died on March 1, 1992 in the Brooks Health Centre at the age of 73 years.
He was born at Weiland, Ontario and served on the Ontario Provincial Police Force for 14 years and also in the military during World War Two.
He married the former Naomi Frances Robinson in Huntsville, Ontario on October 29, 1966.
He moved to Brooks in 1978 where he resided until his passing.
He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Legion Honor Guard.
He and his wife both served as caretakers of the County of Newell building for seven years.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Jack and Arnold Baldwin.
Surviving are his wife Naomi; three children, Keith and Bob Baldwin and Shari Schnack; a brother Horace and a sister Ruth Dixon.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4 (today) at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend David Asher officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Harvey Astley, John Dougall, Bud Larsen, Bob Curtis, Eric Welbourne and Leroy Rhodes.
