BAXTER –  Mrs. Lillian Baxter, 64, of Brooks, passed away Arpil.25 in the Brooks Hospital.

Born in Parkland, Sask., and raised near FortQu’Appelle, moving to Brooks in 1946, where she has resided,

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Catherin Cramer, Polluwarth, Sask., Mrs. Evelyn Fawcett, Rosthern, Sask., Mrs Luella Hurst, Okotoks, Alberta and Mrs. Leona Arundel, Stettler, Alberta; four sons, Clarence, Pollwarth, Sask., Robert, Brooks, Melvin of Redwater, Alberta and Albert and Elmo Scott, of Cupar, Sask.; three sisters, Mrs. C.E. Stewart of St. Catherines, Ont., Mrs R.A. Pengelly, of Cupar, Sask., and Mrs Pearl Turner, Vancouver, B.C. Her husband predeceased her about a year ago.

Services were held April 29 at the BrooksUnitedChurch at 2 p.m. with Rev Ken Stevenson and Rev. Illsey officiating. Burial in Brooks cemetery.

Pallbearers were A. Nunemaker. J. White, Ken Lintott, Stan Saunders, Harry Crombie.

Smith Funeral Home were in charge.
