BEASLEY – Floyd George Beasley died at his One Tree residence on November 30, 1989 at the age of 64 years.
He was born at Patricia, Alberta on November 28, 1925 and was raised in the Patricia district
He married Ann Bogi on December 9 1950 and moved to the One Tree district in 1958 where he farmed and ranched.
He was an avid big game hunter when his health permitted.
He was predeceased by his parents Pete Beasley in 1964 and Sarah Beasley Smalley in 1981, a brother Verlin Beasley in 1983, two sisters, Erma Ponting in 1980 and Maxine Tucker in 1987 and a son-in-law, Paul Salonisen in 1987.
Surviving are his wife Ann of One Tree, eight daughters, Pat Salonisen of Lethbridge, Martha Bunney of Brooks, Frances (Wade) Tobler of Patricia, Georgette (Earl) Buck of Buffalo, Ella (Dennis) Endersby of Duchess, Vicki Nicholson of Vancouver, Cathy Beasley of Brooks and Terry (Darcy) Laye of Cadogan, AB., nine grandchildren, his rnother-in-law, Mrs. Ella Bogi of Brooks, fourl brothers, Lee (Ella) Beasley of Patricia, Jay Beasley of Sunnynook, Leonardl (Sylvia) Beasley of Brooks and Fred Beasley of Kamloops, four sisters, Jessie Lindstrom of Burnaby, B.C., Joy Young of Pincher Creek, Yvonne Gedleman of Vancouver Island and Violet Robinson of Brooks and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 5 at 2 p.rn. in Smith Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Ken Grambo officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Earl Buck, Dennis Endersby, Wade Tobler, Darcy Laye, Ron Senecal and Dan Buzogan.
Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
