BOLDICK – Le Roy Boldick died on December 17, 1981 at Brooks, Alberta at the age of 61.
He was born at Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and attended school there, graduating from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in pharmacy.
He married Violet Richardson in Regina in 1944.
He was employed as a pharmacist at North Battleford for 20 years.
He was active in the North Battleford United Church and served on the board of stewards and sang in the choir. He was also president of the home and school association for several years.
He served on the council of the Pharmaceutical Association of Saskatchewan and was president of the retail section of the Pharmaceutical Association of Saskatchewan.
He enjoyed the sport of golfing.
He had recently moved to Brooks and was employed in the Newell Pharmacy,
Surviving are his wife, Violet of Brooks; one daughter, Kathryn of Vancouver; three sons, George of Vancouver, Vern of Calgary and Bob of Okotoks; two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Monday, December 21 at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Rev. George G. Scott officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles Richardson, Donald Richardson, Walter Richardson, Phil Barg. George Sitch, and Werner Huthmann.
