Ray D. Bone died in the University Hospital in Edmonton on April 14, 1986 at the age of 50 years.
He was born at Magrath, Alberta on April 10, 1936, son of Lindon and Annie Bone.
After leaving the Brooks area he homesteaded near Fahler, Alberta where he farmed with the Jackson family for several years. His arthritic disability forced him to sell his farm recently.
Surviving are his parents Lindon and Annie Bone of Brooks; a brother Kay and his wife June and family of Duchess; three sisters, Colleen Coppieters and her husband Ceasa and family of Raymond; Julie Irwin and her husband Albert and family of Patricia; Joanne Buteau and her husband Rene and family of Brooks; numerous nieces and nephews and his dear friends Harold and Etta Jackson, Roy and Brenda Jackson and family and Marlene and Gordon Bourke and family, all of Fahler, Alberta.
Funeral service will be held at the LDS Chapel in Brooks on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
