BROWN – The death took place on Wednesday Sept. 3rd of Fenwick Donaldson Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Brown Brooks, after an illness of only a few days. The funeral was held on Thursday to the local cemetery, funeral services being conducted by Rev. Silverwood.
The Floral tributes were numerous and expressed the sympathy of the friends of Mr. and Mrs. Brown.
Only two weeks ago, Mr. and Mrs. Brown moved up from Maple Creek to Brooks and took the house immediately north of J.L. Marin’s. A very short time later the little boy was taken ill with diphtheria, and his heart gave out under the sickness. He was six years and eight months of age.
The pallbearers were; J. McLaren, Maple Creek; J. Bull and E.Purcell, Maple Creek and Chas. Galbraith, Duchess.
