BROWN – Fred Brown of Brooks passed away in Brooks General Hospital on July 13 after a lengthy illness. He was 34 years of age.
Born in Highgate, Sask. Mr. Brown resided with his parents there, moving to the Brooks district in 1967 where he was employed in the oil industry.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Brown of Brooks, father Steve Leschyshyn of North Battleford, Sask., two brothers, Mike Leschyshyn of Highgate, Sask. and Peter Leschyshyn of Orangeville, Ontario; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Bidyk of North Battleford, Sask., Mrs. Henry Smith of Toronto, Ontario, Mrs. Andy Whitton of Toronto, Ontario and Miss Grace Leschyshyn of North Battleford, Sask.
Funeral sevices were held in Smith Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 16 at 2 p.m., Mr. G.
Fode of the Brooks Kingdom Hall officiating. Interment was in Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers were William Sheldrake, George Wilson, Herb Dixon, Ed Pratt, Robert Preston and Robin Dixon.
Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
