Bunney, Reginald

BUNNEY – Reginald Bunney of Brooks died on April 20,1975 in the Brooks General Hospital at the age of 41 years.

He was born in Cereal, Alberta and came to the One Tree district with his parents and to Brooks where he received his high school education and has resided here since.

He was employed by the Brooks Garage for a number of years and later worked at the old Legion Lounge for seven years and more recently worked for Pheasant Sales Ltd., in Brooks,

He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion No. 63, Brooks

Surviving are his wife, Elsie, of Brooks, a daughter Penny and son Garth, both of Brooks, also three sons, Michael, of Chilliwack, B.C. and Clayton and Rickey of Redland, Alberta; three sisters, Mrs. Gwen Senecal, of Brooks, Mrs. Agnes Iverson, of Calgary. Mrs. Marie Thompson, of Busby, Alberta; four brothers, Roy, of Patricia, Austin, of Duchess, Denzel, of Calgary and Wendell, of Brooks as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held today, Wednesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with Rev. C.W. Hutton officiating, Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tony Stanker, Chuck Pozzo. Bob Anderson, George Anderson, Gordon MacKenzie and Tom Handyside,
