CONNERS — Nancy Louise (Nan) Conners died in the Brooks Health Centre on May 20 1986 at the age of 71 years.
She was born the Jenner district and moved to Patricia with her family and has resided in the district since.
She married Bill Conners on April 17, 1937.
She was a member of the Order of Royal Purple, the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Prairie Pioneers.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill on January 13, 1973.
Surviving are six children, Bill and his wife, Ella, of Oyen; Betty Dickhaut of Innisfail; Dorothy and her husband, Tom Osadczuk, of Iddesleigh; Fred and his wife, Judy, of Patricia; Shirley and her husband, Bob Elsbett, of Drumheller; and, Mary Conners of Red Deer; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pearl Oaks of Brooks and Rose Conners of Patricia and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21, 1986 at 11 :00 a.m. in Brooks United Church with the Reverend Yaline Conley officiating. Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Sieg Wetteskind, John McBurnie, Joe Owens and Oliver Deschamps. Active pallbearers were Norman Musgrove, Guy Fukuda, Ron Maclsaac, Dempster Havens, Alf Tobler and Albert Irwin.
