CORRIVEAU – Mrs. Annemarie Corriveau, widow of the late Leo Corriveau (September 2nd, 1984), passed away in Calgary on July 7, 1998 at the age of 90 years.
Born in Germany on August 19th, 1907 she came to Western Canada in 1927. Following her first husband’s death, Annemarie married Leo on February 15th, 1938 and resided at Meadowlake, Saskatchewan. Leo served with the Air Force and they were stationed at North Battleford and later Calgary. The family moved to Rolling Hills in 1946 and to Brooks in 1984. Annemarie had resided in the Pioneer Villa until moving to Calgary in 1988. She was a Charter Member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Rolling Hills Legion, an avid curler and had worked for a few years at the Newell Vegetable Plant. Annemarie is best remembered as a quiet, loving person.
Her son Ed, daughters Hilda and Isabell, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews survive her.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 am. on Saturday, July 11th from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bryan Frank officiated.
