CYR – Rosemary Anne Cyr died on December 12, 1987 in Brooks, Alberta at the age of 45 years.
She was born at Maple Creek, Saskatchewan and resided there until moving to Patricia in 1951. She moved to Acme and to Brooks in 1956.
She married Henry Cyr in Brooks United Church on June 11, 1960 and moved to Didsbury in 1966 and later to Olds and resided in Coronation and Taber for five years each and retumed to Brooks in 1979.
She was a member of the Taber Curling Club and was currently a member of the Duchess Curling Club.
Surviving are her husband Henry of Brooks and children Donna McKenna and her husband Blaise of Edmonton, James Cyr and Marlys of Brooks, her parents Tony and Helen Both of Brooks, sisters; Shirley and her husband GiI Gratrix of High River and Gloria and her husband Laurence Ion of Brooks, mother-in-law
Alma Campbell and her husband Rod Campbell of Brooks, three grandchildren and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held at Brooks United Church on Wednesday, December 16 at 2 p.m. (today) with the Reverend J Valine Conley officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Ed Glazier, Garry Seitz, Jack McCloy, Raymond Adair, Bryce Hendrickson and Hubie Pine. Active pallbearers are Steve Wallace, Rick Fleury, Pat Zukowski, Bob Giles, Tim Schneider and Darrel Ferguson.
If friends desire memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
