DAVIDSON – Reginald Martin Davidson, beloved husband of Corrie Davidson of Rainier, passed away in Brooks on December 2nd, 2003 at the age of 65 years, Martin was born in Brooks on July 28th, 1938 and received his education in Rainier. He had worked for the EID and later owned and operated Zippy Cat until farming in the Rainier area. Martin and Corrie were marred in Yuma, Arizona on February 7th, 1992. He especially enjoyed playing cards, fishing, singing and music. Martin will be fondly remembered for his love for his family, for his sense of humour and for his love of people and telling stories. He was predeceased by his sister Aileen Johnson on June 19th, 1991, his father Roy on September 18th, 1991, and niece Bonnie Scott on November 4th, 2003. He is survived by his loving family, wife Corrie and children Aileen and Shane who were the apple of his eye all of Rainier; 4 children with his previous wife Gloria Atwood – daughter Cindy Davidson of Calgary, daughter Cherie (Mickey) Barca of Brooks, daughter Jacquie (Marvin) of Calgary and son Curtis (Kathy) Davidson of Brooks; grandchildren Allison, Sarah, Amy, Amber, Dustin and Andy; his mom Irene Davidson of Brooks; brothers Rod and his wife Wendy of Rainier and Ken and his wife Marilynne of Millicent and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1:30 PM on Monday, December 8th from the Evangelical Free Church, Brooks. Rev. Don Gillett officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were Ron Hallman, Allen Nielsen, Arnold Nielsen, Wes Link, Arnold Roth, Dave Forden, Mike Graham, Dennis Peyton and Arnold Gillespie, all who were active in Martin’s life. Active Pallbearers were Joel Davidson, Aaron Davidson, Trent Davidson, Layne Davidson, Bruce Tumbach, Brett Bock and Bruce Pierson.
