Dryden, Mildred Edith

DRYDEN – Mildred Edith Dryden, passed away in Estevan, Sask., May 6th, 1998 at the age of 80 years.

Born in Sault St. Marie, Ont. she came to Alberta with her family in 1919. “Midge” received her education at Clancy and Duchess Schools. She married Samuel Dryden, they made their home in Estevan, Sask.

Mildred was predeceased by her loving husband Samuel, her parents Thomas and Alice Cotton, one brother, Gordon Cotton. She is survived by her son Sam (Denies), their children Elizabeth and Anthony, one daughter, Dallas (Alex) Coldwell, daughter, Taralyn all of Estevan, Sask.; 2 brothers, Ray Cotton of Duchess, Fred of Taber, 3 sisters, Edna Castonia of Oliver, B.C., Lillian Crowder of Kemptville, Ont., Evelyn Gallant of Turner Valley and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service was held in Estevan at the Chapel, May 9th at 11 o’clock .

Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery, June 13th. Private family service. Archdeacon David Asher and Smith Funeral Home in attendance.
