He was born at Bassano, Alberta on October 11, 1968 and moved to Brooks with his family in 1973 and received all his schooling here.
He was employed for a short time with Flint Engineering in 1987 and had been employed by Joann Trucking as a fork lift operator for the past two years.
He enjoyed hockey, ball and working on cars and woodworking.
Surviving are his beloved family, his parents, Harold and Gloria Evans of Brooks, a brother Blaine and his wife Heather of Edmonton, grandmothers, Sybil Wilson of Brooks and Ruby Caverly of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, his godmother Kay McKay of Brooks, his fiancee April Crouch and their daughter Noel Dawn of Brooks and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14 (today) at 2 p.m. in Brooks United Church with the Reverend Jim Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Stu Johnson, Sean Freidrick, Gordon Alcock, Ray Grimson, Gavin Grimson and Corby Grimson.
