FUJIMOTO – Satoru Fujimoto died at Rainier, Alberta on October 1, 1989 at the age of 60 years.
He was born at Cumberland, B.C. and moved to Raymond in April, 1942 and to Rainier in 1946 where he received his high school. He attended SAlT in Calgary and graduated as an automotive mechanic.
He married Noriko Seiji on March 13, 1967 in Japan and resided in Rainier where he farmed with his brothers.
Surviving are his wife Noriko of Rainier; a daughter Colleen Fujimoto of Rainier, his mother Haru Fujimoto of Rainier, seven brothers Min, Tak, Yosh, Tats, Vas, Nob and George, two sisters, Uki Adachi of Fernie, B.C. and Mils Fujino and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wake service will be held on Wednes.day, October 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Rosemary Buddhist Church and funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 10 .a.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend S.K. Ikuta officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
