Mary was born at Alloa Junction; Sterlingshire, Scotland on November 15th, 1888 and was raised and educated there. She married the late David Gibb on December 3rd, 1915 in Sterling, Scotland, and they lived on a large farm there, before coming to Canada in March of 1930. They settled on the Duke of Sutherland Ranch near Brooks. Mary also had a keen interest in the Royal Family and could tell many different stories about their lives.
