GOOD – Adeline Elizabeth Good of Brooks, Alberta died in the Brooks Health Centre on June 17, 1979 at the age of 81 years.
She was born at Crowing County, Minnesota, U.S.A. on October 16, 1897 and moved to Alderson, Alberta with her parents.
She married Ernest Kimball at Medicine Hat in 1915 and moved to Rainier in 1921. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, in 1923.
She married John Good of Rainier in March 1926 farming there until 1962 when her husband John passed away. She moved to Brooks residing here since.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret Kimball in 1931.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Irene Hatch of Newell Nursing Home, Mrs. Thelma Boseley of Bassano, Mrs. Mary Green of Brooks, Mrs. Emma Haliiday and Mrs. Ida Anderberg of Port Alberni, B.C.; two sons, Arnold Kimball of Kaslo, B.C., and Harold Kimball of Salmon Arm, B.C.; 32 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, John Comstock of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Verndella Peterson of Crosby, Minnesota.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 20 (today) at 3 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Rev. George G. Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Carl Anderson, Earl Taylor, Slim Fallis, Ross McKay, Merritt Murphy and Andy Link. Active pallbearers, all grandsons, are Albert Anderberg, Larry Boseley, Allan Green, Terry Green, George Hatch and Glenn Hatch.
