GROVER – Ralph Marrion Grover of Brooks, Alberta died in the Brooks Health Centre on September 30, 1985 at the age of 72 years.
He was born at Gadsby, Alberta and moved to Hanna and served in the South Alberta Regiment from 1943 to 1946 during the Second World War. In 1947, he moved to Edmonton and was employed by Halliburton Services Ltd. and was transferred to numerous places with his job until coming to Brooks in 1964 where he has resided since. He was with Halliburton until retiring as a dispatcher .
Surviving are his wife, IsabeIle of Brooks; a son William and his wife Donna of Edmonton; two daughters Linda of Brooks and Verna and her husband Edwin Fosen of Brooks; a son Rowlan of Calgary; four grandchildren; five brothers, Glen of Stettler,
Lyle of Hanna, George of Calgary, Douglas of Edmonton and Stuart of Pine Lake; three sisters, Mabel Fletcher of Castor, Elaine Walker of Edmonton and Betty Hunter of Boyle.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3 at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Yoline Conley officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
