KLETTKE – Lillian Klettke died in the Brooks Health Centre on April 12, 1990 at the age of 74 years.
Lillian was born October 17, 1915 at Kelvington, Sask. at age 15 moved to Smiley, Sask.; was married on November 15, 1932 at Flaxcombe, Sask.
She and her husband resided at Kindersley until moving to Madison in 1942, where they farmed until moving to Medicine Hat in 1972; while there she was
employed with Cypress Real Estate until retiring in 1980 due to ill health.
In 1987 she moved to the Newbrook Lodge in Brooks and entered the nursing home in 1988.
She was a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion, (Madison).
Surviving are her husband Otto of Brooks, 2 sons, Wayne of Grand Prairie, Alta., Elwyne and his wife Joan of Brooks, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, one sister Amy Axtell of Hudson Bay, Sask. and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 17 at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Rick Bergh officiating.
Interment followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Ron Klettke, Jack Klettke, Barry Klettke, Darrel Enger, Chuck Matson and Alfred Kelm.
