Kraft, Dora

KRAFT – Dora Kraft passed away peacefully in Brooks on November  16th, 2002 at the age of 75 years.  Born in Sheffield, England on  September 24th, 1927 she received  all her education there. Dora married  Cliff Kraft on March 2nd, 1946 in  England. She was an English War  Bride and arrived to Canada in 1946  and settled in Brooks in 1954. She  worked at Macleods until retiring in  1984. Dora was an active member  with the Ladies Auxiliary to the  Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #63  for over 50 years. She served as  president and held many offices and  was also a lifetime member. Dora  loved her family, friends and her  sense of humor kept everyone on  their toes. She was predeceased  by her husband Clifford Kraft on  January 28th, 1985 and a brother George Titman. Dora is survived by her  loving family, daughter Carol Jenn and her husband Jim of Kelowna; son  Lorne of Surrey, B.C.; 4 grandchildren Lance, Travis (Christa), Leon and  Carla; 2 great grandsons Neal and Kyle; brother Fred Titman; 3 sisters  Connie Kent, Edith Laycock and Margaret Elam and families all of England.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday. November 22nd from  Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ken Wells officiating. Honor guard provided  by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #63. Active  Pallbearers will be Travis Jenn, Bruce Parker, Lonnie Rushka, Mike Wenner.  Chris Klein and Darren Klein.
