She was born on December 25, 1889 in Kenmore, Ontario.
She married Ambrose Price on November 20, 1907 in Kemptville, Ontario and moved to Calgary in 1911 and to Atlee, Alberta in the same year where Ambrose worked as top cow hand on the SS Horse Ranch and started their own homestead. They moved to Saskatchewan in 1922 and returned to Alberta to Cassils in 1946. She entered the nursing home three years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband Ambrose in 1969, a daughter Georgie Brodie in 1987 and son-in-law Jim Brodie in 1987.
Surviving are a daughter Margaret Lelond of Brooks, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two greatgreat-granddaughters.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8 at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Andy Hoskin officiating. Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Ken Brodie, Jack Lelond, Lance Lelond, Warren Lelond, Murray Suitor and Ivan Gomke.
If friends desire memorial donations may be made to the Brooks Health Centre Memorial Fund or the charity of their choice.
