URLACHER – Frank Anton Urlacher died at Scandia, Alberta on April 29, 1989 at the age of 62 years.
He was born at Fox Valley, Saskatchewan on August 20, 1926 where he farmed with his family until 1957. He moved to Tilley and worked as a farm labourer until 1973 and then, worked for G.W. Murray Cattle Co. until 1985. Due to ill health he was forced to retire and moved to Scandia to reside with his brother John.
He was predeceased by his father Ambrose in 1944 and his mother Mary in 1977.
Surviving are three sons, Bill of Brooks, Brian of Strathmore and Ross of Medicine Hat, two daughters, Patricia and her husband Jim Schaap of Brooks and Donna Lee Urlacher of Brooks, four grandchildren;- five brothers, Steve (Karen) of Williams Lake, B.C., Walter of Saskatoon, Sask., John (Debra) of Scandia, Henry (Sharon) of Loreburn, Sask., and Joe (Marie) of Glidden, Sask., four sisters, Lonnie (Harris) Kallenburger of Schuler, Alberta, Rose McKenzie of High Prairie, Alberta, Katie (Tony) Holfart of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Pauline (Selmer) Sunde of Maple Creek, Sask. and numerous nieces and nephews:
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4 at 2 p.m. in Smith Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Jim Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Brooks Cemetery.
Pallbearers are George Murray, Brian Murray, William Hoffart, Anthony Hoffart, Melvin Sunde and Ronald Sunde.
If friends desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
