VIROVEC – Bonnie Arlene Virovec passed away in Calgary on November 21st, 1999 at the age of 61 years.
Born in Antler, Saskatchewan on September 20th, 1938 Arlene grew up in and received her early education in Gainsborough, Saskatchewan. She later studied Education in Moose Jaw and Saskatoon graduating in 1959. Arlene married Frank Virovec in Regina in 1961, settling in Tilley where they have resided since. She taught at the Tilley School for one full year 1961 then later as a substitute teacher until retiring in 1997. Arlene loved her family, nature and visiting with all her many friends. She will be remembered for her great memory for special dates, cooking and for putting the needs of others ahead of her own.
Arlene was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband Frank and their children Les and his wife Carolyn of Brooks, Carol Westcott and her husband Bob of Dallas, Texas and Dave of Tilley; brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 25th from the Tilley Community Hall. Rev. Charles Ramer officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be all of Arlene’s many close friends. Active pallbearers will be Larry Virovec, Mike Virovec, Kevin Suhai, Donald Wolfer, Dan Christrnan and Aaron Suchy. Interment to follow at Brooks Cemetery.
