NEUFELD – Agnes Neufeld of Seven Persons, Alberta died on April 8, 1989 at the age of 60 years.
The former Agnes Walde was born on October 31, 1928 at Kleefeld, Manitoba and came to Gem with her family at an early age. She was raised and educated in the Gem area and graduated from the M.B.I. (Menno Bible Institute) in Didsbury in 1949.
She married Ray Neufeld on October 23, 1949 in Gem and moved to Brooks in 1950 residing there until 1961 when they moved to a farm outside Seven Persons where she has resided since.
She was an avid gardener, was active in her church and had a genuine love of people.
She was predeceased by her father John Walde.
Surviving are her husband Ray of Seven Persons, three sons, Ken and his wife Cathy Neufeld of Duchess, Rod and his wife Roxanne Neufeld of Brooks and Dale and his wife Dawn Neufeld of Edmonton, three daughters, Shirley and her husband Harry Voth of Rocky Mountain House, Sue and her husband Todd Krohn of Red Deer and LeAnne Neufeld of Seven Persons, 10 grandchildren, her mother Susie Walde of Brooks, three brothers, Ernie (Anne) Walde and John (Elma) Walde all of Gem, Fred (Elvera) Walde of Spruce Grove. Three sisters Elma (Henry) Harms of South Bank, B.C. Linda (Abe) Nikkel of Calgary, Lou (Bill) Enns of Edson.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 12 (today) at 2 p.m. in the Bow Island Evangelical Free Church with Pastor John Nicholson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
